Land Rover LR3 Navigation Stunt

In this installment of the Land Rover “Designed for the Extraordinary” campaign we allied the brain power of the new LR3 with the brawn and flight capabilities of a C-130 Hercules cargo plane. The vehicle was driven on board and once airborne, the crew of the airplane used the LR3's navigation system to guide the airplane at a height of 9,000 feet from takeoff at Nice, France to the island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea. There’s nothing more thrilling than making history but getting to do it on the stunning French island of Corsica was nothing less than extraordinary. Thanks for an amazing 9-day shoot, Land Rover!

The teaser print and out-of-home campaign I was responsible for, plus the TV commercial, successfully drove traffic to landroverusa.com where you could find a behind-the-scenes video of this first-ever feat.
