Toyota Thanks Our Heroes

Heartwarming spots thanking our heroes and highlighting the importance of family and friends coming together have become a holiday tradition for Toyota. This moving campaign has proven to be a highly successful brand builder during a time of year when consumers are bombarded with aggressive retail messaging.

This holiday spot focused on the life of an everyday hero. An essential worker, who is also a mom, is surprised when she realizes her children recognize what she goes through and truly see her. The clients loved this spot so much it was requested to be shown to the grandson of the founder of Toyota Motors and current president of Toyota Motor Sales, Akio Toyoda. There’s nothing like happy clients.

The previous year we featured military service members returning home for the holidays to a touching homecoming surprise. The spot premiered during NBC’s Sunday Night Football “Thanksgiving Special”, with a live throw coming out of Toyota halftime. It aired on NBC’s primetime special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center”, with a personalized setup from hosts, Al Roker and Hoda Kotb. In addition, it was seen on thousands of movie screens nationwide. Social media posts flooded in thanking Toyota and reported tears of joy from viewers.
